This Malvasía Volcánica Weekend is expected to become a great sensorial experience with this year's edition, which will end on June 10th in La Geria Winery with the band Love of Lesbian as headlist. The 7th edition of this festival assures Lanzarote as a touristic destination with much more to offer than sun and beach.  

Culture, landscapes and gastronomy all mixed up in this event coorganised by Consejo Regulador de la Denominación de Origen Vinos de Lanzarote will let people enjoy live music with a glass of wine in their hands. This year's edition started on May 26th in Monumento al Campesino with more than 300 attendants.

This year, Malvasía Volcanic Weekend will bring to the island great international and national bands like Love of Lesbian, León Benavente o English brothers Kitty, Daisy & Lewis. Serial Killerz and Juana La Cubana have also been confirmed. In accordance with Zero Kilometer philosophy, there will also be some Canarian artists such as Cumbria Ebria and Banadú. More than 9 hours of live music that will begin at 4.30 pm.

To preserve the special atmosphere of the environment of La Geria, it is encouraged that you use public transport, which has been reinforced. There will be frequent buses from Uga that will take you there.

The wines of Lanzarote will be represented with the presence of some wineries of the area to combine music and gastronomy. In the line with sustainability, this year glasses will be reused and solar panels will be installed to charge mobile phones. This year, apart from the usual wines, a selection of cocktails will be elaborated with wines of the island
